iPhone Fever

So I feel like the only person in the world without an iPhone, and I plan on rectifying the situation with the new iPhone 4 in white!

Most of my friends have different generation iPhones and they seem to have really great apps that help with various different things, and I can have all my emails, social networks and blogs on the go with me with an iPhone.

I'm currently browsing through uSwitch, comparing handsets and contract deals on different networks, hopefully I can get a good deal.

It looks like I can only get it on a minimum 18 month contract - 12 month contracts don't seem to exist any more - which isn't great, but it's better than 24 or 36 months!

DONT BE PUT OFF!

I am an avid cyclist. I ride to work and in my spare time, as it is something I enjoy. I must admit, riding in London can sometimes be tough, but I don€™t think this should put people off riding.
It is a worry if a driver does not see you riding, but you just need to make sure you can be seen in the dark with fluorescents and I take the attitude that no driver can see me, so I am extra cautious.
A lot of roads now have cycle lanes and positions to stop at traffic lights so drivers can see you. Also the Governments recent advertising campaign aimed to make drivers more aware of cyclists has also helped to make the roads safer.
Lastly, make sure you wear a helmet! At the end of the day you would rather your helmet taking the impact of a fall than your head.
So don€™t be put off! As long as you are aware of what is around you and wear fluorescents and a helmet you will be fine! Go on, go and buy yourself a cheap bicycle and get cycling!
